Resident Evil Requiem Safe Code Guide: Every Safe Combination, Trophy Requirements, Rewards, And Missable Locations

Resident Evil Requiem Safe Code Guide: Every Safe Combination, Trophy Requirements, Rewards, And Missable Locations

Every Resident Evil Requiem safe code is fixed. Nothing randomizes between playthroughs, so the numbers below work on your save exactly as written. Five dial safes exist across Grace’s sections, two in the Care Center and two in the ARK, plus one in the basement. Insanity uses a completely different set.

All Five Safes at a Glance

Resident Evil Requiem Safe Code Safe  Area Standard and Casual Insanity Reward
Bar and Lounge Care Center, ground floor Left 10, Right 80, Left 30 Right 20, Left 50, Right 30 3 antique coins
Examination Room Care Center, ground floor Right 30, Left 10, Right 50 Left 50, Right 30, Left 90 3 antique coins
Furnace room Care Center basement Right 60, Left 40, Right 80 Left 70, Right 50, Left 20 Raccoon Roundup map, 10 handgun rounds
Sterilization Chamber ARK Right 10, Left 90, Right 20 Left 80, Right 50, Left 0 Med injector, 15 handgun rounds, Molotov
Monitor Control Room ARK Left 50, Right 60, Left 80 Right 20, Left 0, Right 70 Med injector, acid bottle, empty bottle

TL; DR

  • Each stop names a direction and a number, and the direction flips every time.
  • Three safes sit in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center; two sit in the ARK.
  • Casual and Standard share one set of codes. Insanity swaps all five.
  • All five open the “No Safe is Safe” trophy, and all five are missable.
  • The first two safes hand you six antique coins, enough for a Hip Pouch and a Stabilizer.

Deeper walkthroughs of the last two live in our breakdown of both ARK safe combinations, including where the note files sit. This page covers the full set.

How the Resident Evil Requiem Safe Code Dial Actually Works

How the Resident Evil Requiem Safe Code Dial Actually Works

Read every Resident Evil Requiem safe code as three dial stops, not just three numbers. Turn the dial left to the first number, right to the second, and left to the third. The turning direction changes with every step, so follow the sequence exactly as listed.

Entering two stops in the same direction is the most common reason a Resident Evil Requiem safe code appears not to work. Nearly every “the code doesn’t work” complaint is caused by missing a direction change or turning the dial incorrectly.

Overshooting does no harm. Keep rotating past the number and come back around. On the final stop, ease off the stick, because the wheel carries momentum and slides past your target. If a safe refuses twice, back out of the interaction entirely and start fresh.

Care Center Safes, One by One

Bar and Lounge

Head behind the counter on the ground floor. It sits low, to the right of the flower arrangement, which hides it well enough that plenty of players walk past it twice. Turn left to 10, right to 80, then left to 30. Three antique coins inside.

Examination Room

Look for the blood-stained locker room near the Lead Researcher’s Office, still on the ground floor. Your target waits inside a cabinet in the far corner. Turn right to 30, left to 10, then right to 50. Another three coins, which pushes you over the line for a second parlor upgrade.

Furnace Room, Basement

Drop to the basement and find the small tool room beside the forklift. A table holds the safe. Turn right to 60, left to 40, then right to 80. You get the Raccoon Roundup map for Rhodes Hill and ten handgun rounds. That map matters more than it looks, since it marks collectibles you would otherwise sweep for blind.

The Two ARK Safes

The Two ARK Safes

Both sit in the final area, and both belong to Grace’s run through the bioweapon facility. A corridor before Bioweapon Repository 05 holds the Sterilization Chamber safe, right by a save point. You need the Magnetic Key before the Monitor Control Room safe opens. Until you have it, that red door stays shut.

Their two note files share a room: Bioweapon Repository 05, the Licker-infested containment space. One sits to your right as you enter, before you push north. Its pair rests inside an open container in the middle of the floor. Grab both in one pass.

Every Resident Evil Requiem Safe Code on Insanity

Insanity keeps the safes where they are. It moves items, relocates files, and replaces all five combinations. So, a code you memorized on Standard is dead weight on a harder run. That is why the table above carries both columns.

One quirk catches the veteran. Casual and Standard share the same numbers, which makes people assume difficulty never matters. Then Insanity rewrites everything.

The Waiting Room Container Nobody Mentions

A strongbox in the Waiting Room already sits open when you reach it. Two antique coins wait inside; no dial required. It needs no combination, so it does not count as a sixth safe and does nothing for the trophy. Most “all safes” lists skip it entirely, which is fine for completion but leaves two coins behind if you never look.

What Antique Coins Buy

Coins go to the parlor, west of Central Hall in the Care Center. You need the Red Jewel to get in.

Upgrade Coins Effect
Hip Pouch 3 coins Two extra inventory slots
Stabilizer 4 coins Permanent handling and firepower boost
Steroids 4 coins Permanent max health increase
Override Manual 6 coins Blood Collector capacity up 50%

Take the Hip Pouch first. Inventory pressure is what slows a Requiem run, and two extra slots early beat a small damage bump later.

The Order That Saves You a Backtrack

The Order That Saves You a Backtrack

Sequence matters more here than the numbers do, because two of the five sit behind progression gates.

  1. Bar and Lounge, on your first ground floor, sweep the Care Center.
  1. Examination Room, on the same sweep. Six coins now beat three coins twice.
  1. Parlor visits once you hold the Red Jewel. Spend the six.
  1. Furnace room, whenever the basement opens up.
  1. Sterilization Chamber, early in the ARK, next to the save point.
  1. Monitor Control Room, immediately after the Magnetic Key drops.

Grabbing the first two together is the only genuinely useful piece of routing advice on this page. Six coins buy a Hip Pouch and leave three toward a Stabilizer, and the inventory relief lands while the Care Center still has looted in it.

Leon’s chapters need none of this. Every dial in the campaign belongs to Grace, so if you are playing Leon and hunting for a safe, you are in the wrong half of the game.

Do Not Get Locked Out

RE9 shipped without chapter select. There is no free roam after the credits either. Once the story moves past an area, that area is closed for that save file. An unopened safe stays unopened forever.

The fix takes ten seconds. Make a manual save on the typewriter in each area before you push the story forward. Those saves become your chapter markers, and reloading one is the only route back to a safe you skipped. All five feed the “No Safe is Safe” trophy, and it wants all five in a single playthrough.

Why Guides Number These Safes Differently

Pull up three guides, and the same safe gets called number four in one and number five in the next. Some writers order by area. Others order by the sequence a typical run hits them. Content lists drift too. A few pages give only the Standard combination and never mention Insanity exists.

Our page on the Monitor Control Room safe and its three items tracks that disagreement in detail. Short version: trust the location name, not the number.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a Resident Evil Requiem safe code ever change between playthroughs?

No. Codes are identical for every player on a given difficulty and never randomize.

How many safes are there?

Five dial safes, all in Grace’s sections. Leon’s chapters have none.

Are the safes missable?

Yes. No chapter select and no post-credits roaming means a skipped safe is gone unless you kept a save in that area.

Which safe should I prioritize?

The Sterilization Chamber. A Molotov plus 15 rounds is the strongest single haul of the five, and Insanity runs arrive there low on both.

When did the game come out?

Capcom released it on February 27, 2026.
